Methodology
- Voweletics™ utilizes a color-coded system; one color for each of the three vowel classifications as presented in this method. Studies support the effectiveness of bright colors in improving retention.
- Voweletics™ lessons were designed with short teaching segments combined with fun, hands-on interactive learning activities. This style of instruction captivates the student for optimal learning.
- The 23 original Voweletics™ songs play an integral part in the learning process. The 18 different vowel sounds are first presented pictorially along with the associated guide words used throughout the program. The whimsical characters associated with the varying vowel sounds, have memorable stories detailed in the lyrics of their accompanying song and depicted in the poems and early readers.
- Voweletics™ principles are presented in an explicit, systematic manner:
